As many people will already know, Kid Cudi is planning on releasing the third and final edition of the Man On The Moon series in 2015, leaving an entire year of no releases until the collaboration with Plain Pat and Emile. However, the Cleveland artist recently revealed that an EP will be released in the first quarter of next year, which has now been supported with the given title of Satellite Flight: The Journey To Mother Moon. The continued space theme should give fans everything they need during the wait until his much-anticipated LP.
In his first television performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon of the year, Big Sean invites his G.O.O.D. friend Kid Cudi to perform a Hall Of Fame standout. The two rock “First Chain,” minus Nas and with the help of The Roots, keeping it in the family and giving the New York City audience that Detroit x Cleveland shit. Stuntin like they had their first chain!

So far, 2013 has turned out to be another successful year for Kid Cudi, from releasing his Indicud album and making a number of guest features, to wrapping up Need For Speed and starring in The Cleveland Show. Now that we’re entering the post-G.O.O.D. Music stage of his career, Scott has now made a special guest appearance in relatively new television show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with the comedy series just several episodes into the first season. Cudi’s role in the latest episode shows him in an interrogation scene with actor Andy Samberg, who attempts to tame the artist in somewhat of a goofy manner after supposedly committing yet another crime. You’ll be able to watch the entire episode next Tuesday on FOX.
As many people will already know, it was announced that Kid Cudi would be reuniting with Plain Pat and Emile for his traditional album series, Man On The Moon, with the third saga expected to be released at some point in 2015. During one of his recent shows, the Cleveland artist noted the length of time between now and his next studio album, further moving onto the announcement of an upcoming EP that will released over the next three months.
Although the title is still unknown, you can expect to hear work from Dot Da Genius and King Chip on the project, with the release date set to be announced just 24 hours before its fruition. As an official prelude to Man On The Moon 3, fans should be excited for what’s in store, acting as a continuation from Indicud‘s last track “The Flight Of The Moon Man.”

Now this is news that we love to hear. Earlier today on Twitter Kid Cudi was answering some questions from fans and one arose about a possible reunion between Cudi, Plain Pat & Emile for Man On The Moon 3. To the excitement of the world, Cudi responded with “Def happening! The real broski’s of Manhattan return!”
This is huge news for anybody who loved what Pat, Emile & Cudi put together during the early part of Cudi’s career, that included the first two Man On The Moon albums and the classic A KiD Named CuDi mixtape. Out of nowhere Kid Cudi decides to drop some new music in “Going To The Ceremony.” This is the first we have really heard from him since his album Indicuddropped in the spring. Not sure when this was recorded, but it definitely has a WZRD like feel to it. Regardless it is very dope and we can rock with it.
Like it was previously reported over the past week, Kid Cudi was all set to challenge Fall Out Boy for the number one spot on the Billboard album chart. With last minute changes bringing the release date forward after the leak and his departure from G.O.O.D. Music, there was plenty to talk about on the road leading up to Indicud‘s release.
The final results are now in, and the Cleveland rapper has managed to sell an impressive 139,242 copies of his album, giving him a worthy second position at the end of the first week. The number one spot was cancelled out by Fall Out Boy’s Save Rock And Roll pushing ahead with 148,705 in total sales.
We’d like to congratulate Kid Cudi and his entire team on their success.
Although we were previously expecting his fourth studio album to arrive this coming Tuesday, Kid Cudi took to Twitter just over a week ago to inform fans that Indicud had been re-scheduled to be released on April 16th, and we’re pretty certain that people couldn’t complain. There hasn’t been too much promotion leading up to album besides a number of music videos, his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and not to mention his departure from Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint.
According to numerous reports, Cudi is set to go head to head with Fall Out Boy for a place at the number one spot on the Billboard chart, as they both look on course to sell just under 150,000 copies of their acclaimed new projects. As we all know, the Cleveland artist took matters into his own hands with his latest full-length by producing the entire album by himself, but still managed to enlist the likes of Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, King Chip, RZA, Too $hort, Haim and more to complete his new venture.
Now that the album has been out for a short while, which is your favorite track?
Big Sean recently dropped by Mr. Peter Parker’s studio to talk about his upcoming album Hall Of Fame. While talking about the album they discussed one of the more anticipated tracks on the album that will feature Kid Cudi and Nas.
Also in a very interesting turn Sean semi-confirmed that Kanye’s new single will be called “I Am A God” and that he may have or have not heard it. G.O.O.D. Friday’s back? We will just have to see. Watch the entire interview after the jump.
If you’ve been waiting patiently for Kid Cudi’s new album to finally see the light of day, there’s definitely some good news that you should know about. Instead of his third solo album being released on April 23rd, the release date has now be brought forward by an entire week for it come into fruition on April 16th. Whether this is because of the early leak or not is still unknown, but we do know that Indicud will be available worldwide in stores and online on that specific date. We certainly wasn’t expecting the news just under two weeks before the previously scheduled release, but we’re pleased to see that action has been taken pretty sharply.
Ok so, INDICUD will be released April 16th now.Physical and digitally!! SPREAD THE WORD!!
KiD CuDi has officially taken over Power 106, officially making his announcement that he is now off G.O.O.D. Music with Yesi Ortiz and now visiting with the L.A. Leakers to talk Indicud. While explaining a bit of the inspiration behind his project, he pulls out his phone and plays a snippet of the intro titled, “The Resurrection of Scott Mescudi” to really show Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk how it sets the tone on the album.
The room was completely quiet while the song played, and after the small preview, Cudi revealed he wants to move into scoring films as the next step in his career.
Expect to hear more music from KiD CuDi as the days get closer to the release of Indicud, which is impacting iTunes and retailers nationwide, on April 23.
