Quietly working, Fashawn returns from The Ecology cave to show fans he can still do this rap shit, blessing bars over Jay-Z’s “Picasso Baby” instrumental. The past few months have been dedicated to his sophomore album with Exile, the follow up to Boy Meets World, but the hunger from Fresno’s native has been awakened.
After making a splash with his last mixtape Auradon Sessions: The American Don, Fresno, CA resident Omar Aura is set to return this Summer with a new EP titled Player’s Only. For his first single off the project, he links with fellow Grizzly City representative, Fashawn, for that smooth “Breakfast” that consists of that pink stuff wake up call.

We’re only into the fourth month of the year but producer P-Money has been off to a flying start by hiring the likes of Roc Marciano, Skyzoo and Havoc already onto a range of his songs already. That consistent rally of releases is taken further into the hip-hop standouts as he picks up Freddie Gibbs and Fashawn for his new track titled “Break It Down,” with the pair laying down rhymes in notable style. The single will be featured on P-Money’s upcoming album Gratitude later this year.
Fashawn’s “Kush Jar” was a bonus from Champagne & Styrofoam Cups mixtape and only appeared on the iTunes version. For those who never checked out the track, A-1 decided to put a verse to the track for all the smokers.

For the last leak from Fashawn’s Champagne & Styrofoam Cups mixtape, the Grizzly City native travels to the clouds with Wiz Khalifa as they both speak on their favorite herb. Both are Dr. Greenthumbs, so you can assume why the track is called “Medicine Man.”

Here’s a new track from Jonaz & Exile entitled “Cali Dreamin.” The San Diego and Los Angeles Duo collectively known as “Dag Savage” enlist Fashawn & Co$$ (Ca$hus King) for their newest release. No word on where this track wild end up but with Exile’s production we all love and Johaz dropping them ill bars we’re getting accustomed to, we would only hope for an imminent announcement of a “Dag Savage” project in the works.

If you turn on the radio past 10pm in these Fresno streets, you’re sure to hear the “Love thoughts & dedications” programming until about midnight. One track that they play all the time is the 1991 hit single “One More Try,” which came from Fresno native Timmy T.
