If you’ve been on twitter the last few days, Gucci Mane’s been centered around controversy of alleged hacking, where someone attacked the entire industry behind his name. While Gucci admitted his innocence saying his account was hacked, those who his account had words for were not hesitant to respond back to Guwop publicly. “Coincidentally”, Gucci gives his next album of the year free to the public adding to already released projects such as Trap God 2 and Trap House 3 among others.
Here, we get “Diary Of A Trap God” which will be available on iTunes tonight at midnight; but Gucci opted to release it free to fans. The album has features from Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka, Chief Keef, E-40, Akon, Tyga, Young Scooter, Rich Homie Quan, Plies, Akon, Young Scooter, OG Boo Dirty and OJ Da Juiceman; which production from Mike WiLL Made It, DJ Mustard, Zaytoven, 808 Mafia, Southside, C4, Drumma Boy, Honorable C Note, London On The Track.

The We The Best crew continues to feed the streets today with Mavado’s new single “Rise Up” featuring Akon & Rick Ross. This is the perfect track to ride around the city with your windows down in the summer time, as Akon delivers a very strong hook and Rozay does his thing with his verse.
It was the invasion of R&B this week, as almost half our our Top 10 belongs to the genre. More interestingly, it’s spawned a little competition from two of them, making the Internet pit Justin Timberlake against Robin Thicke for best visual.
The rest of our videos remain to some rap heavyweights, with 2 Chainz getting two looks, much like director Topshelf Junior (for videos from different genres too).
Unfortunately, this means Alternative videos got snubbed.

With the visuals recently released, Wiz Khalifa and Akon were in Burbank for a live performance of their new single “Let It Go” live on the Jay Leno show. This was the duo’s first late night performance of the new single which you can check watch after the jump.
Considering Akon made an appearance on Wiz Khalifa’s O.N.I.F.C. album, it was only logical for him to return the favor on one of Konvict’s own tracks. Today, Akon released a new track featuring the TGOD capo, which we can assume will be from Stadium.
It’s been a minute since Akon dropped some new material, so this radio-ready single should hold people over for a while, until details from his new album surface.
Akon drops off a brand new street banger “Ain’t Sayin’ Nothin” from his upcoming project Konkrete Jungle set to drop in July. Sounds like Akon is back on his shit, and this is exactly what we been waiting for from the homey. Hopefully the rest of the track from Konkrete Jungle match this type of music and we see Akon fully back to what we need him to be.
Ca$h Out “Cashin’ Out” was a big break out hit for the boy so it was only right he went big with the remix. The line up consists of Akon, Young Jeezy, Fabolous & Yo Gotti as they all go for the money on this remix. Shouts out to DJ Spinz doing his thing on the production credits this year.
While we still await a new Akon album, he has teamed up with DJ Noodles for this The Koncrete Mixtape project. A lot of the track were previously released as our guess is he’s saving all the newer material for the new album. Features include French Montana, 2 Chainz, Three 6 Mafia, Usher and more. Track listing and download link after the jump!
Them Coke Boys are back on the scene with their latest project Coke Boys 3: Niggas Wit Coke. For those who missed Akon’s “Behind The Music” episode last night on VH1, here is his story through his humble beginnings and life as he arrived to the U.S., to his father’s influence in music, his work on the Fugees The Score album and Elektra deal to how he finally signed to Interscope and discovered Lady Gaga.
VH1′s “Behind The Music” is back tomorrow with a new episode featuring Akon. In this preview of the hour long special, Akon reveals his life at home and his past, which includes a prison sentence for stealing cars. Not only that but he speaks on the signing of Lady Gaga and his incident where he threw a fan off the stage at one of his concerts.
Back with another week of music, mixtapes & EP’s. We saw more projects this week than usual, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just more music to stomach through. Some up & comers definitely brought fire & veterans showed love to the rising talent.
If you missed anything this week, let us catch you up.

Remember Akon? This dude is just relaxing all cooling making money off his artists like Lady Gaga, T-Pain, etc. With Stadium still on the way, we get the new single “Hurt Somebody” featuring his former signee French Montana. Sounds like the street single and he will finally start getting the ball rolling on his next opus and hopefully deliver it by the end of this year.
