Vintage Dwyane Wade Shows Up in New York Against the Knicks

Welcome back D. Wade!

Usually when we’re talking about the New York Knicks, especially this season, it’s Kristaps Porzingis who is the subject of discussion. On Friday night, Dwyane Wade was the one putting up the highlight reels in Madison Square Garden, showing flashes of his former self.

On one play in the second quarter with time winding down, Wade County got a pass from Chris Bosh and managed to drop Langston Galloway to the floor with a crossover, scoring the bucket and making the Heat bench stand up to the feet in amazement.

The second came earlier in the game on a steal from Gerald Green in transition, who sent the outlet pass up the court to Dwyane and he took it coast to coast for the slam. He had a little of that shake and bake to beat his opponent for the clean slam too.

Wade ended the game with 17 points and 5 rebounds, while Bosh contributed with 20 points and Green leading all scorers with 25 points on the night.
