The venue and date has changed for the Rousey vs. Holm fight!
Originally set for January 2nd, UFC has now moved their female bantamweight championship bout between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm to this November 14th. The fight will now headline UFC 193, as both fighters will now have 11 weeks to quickly get in right shape for the fourth quarter showdown.
With the date moved up and changed from Las Vegas to Australia to potentially break the all-time attendance record for an MMA event ever, this will mark the company’s first ever big stadium show. Emanating from Melbourne, UFC is set to fill capacity of the Etihad Stadium, which is nearly at 55,000.
Rousey is now seeking her seventh consecutive title defense against fellow undefeated fighter Holm, who Ronda is calling her toughest opponent to date. We’re just hopeful the long-awaited Cris Cyborg fight can finally happen this spring if Rousey is able to walk away with the victory this November
