The Cleveland Browns Suffer One of the Worst Monday Night Football Loses Ever

Free Johnny Manziel!

Looking at week 12 action for the NFL, the one match-up that stuck out to us the schedule of games was the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. Both AFC North franchises are two of the worst teams in the entire league, no questions asked. While the Ravens are suffering from injuries to essentially every star on their team, they were in Ohio for a national ESPN game against the Browns.

If you’re like us, you watched NBA TV or caught up on DVR recordings from Sunday and decided to skip this horrific affair. With Johnny Manziel watching from the sidelines after his recent demotion, the Browns would insert both Josh McCown and Austin Davis throughout the game, as both teams actually put on a great football performance for the night. With the exception of a few forced passes from Matt Schaub, he was saved by special teams on the final play of the game.

Travis Coons of the Browns lined up for a 51-yard attempt to win the game with three seconds left, and fans of Cleveland were looking to end their five game losing streak. However, Ravens defensive-end Brent Urban would make a shocking deflection, as Will Hill would pick up the ball and return the blocked field-goal for a 64-yard touchdown score with time expired.

The live crowd of FirstEnergy Stadium stood in belief, anger disappointment and some were literally crying after this MNF loss. Take a look at the highlight above, and fans reactions below.
