NOT GUILTY!
Last April, an incident outside of a night club in New York City saw Thabo Sefolosha in the thick of an investigation after a stabbing inside, involving Chris Copeland.
Sefolosha was accused of repeatedly disobeying the orders and resisting arrest, which ended with him suffering a fractured right leg, missing the rest of the NBA Playoffs. His injury certainly contributed to the Atlanta Hawks being eliminated early after a stellar regular season.
Today, Thabo has been found not guilty on all accounts by a jury, including misdemeanor obstructing government administration, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Sefolosha argued he moved off the block and tried to give a homeless man a $20 dollar bill, when he challenged the tone of which an aggressive officer and was taken to the ground.
It has not yet been determined whether a civil action case will be brought up against the NYPD for the injuries he suffered during the April incident.
