Spike Lee “Royalty Is BIG”

In the latest of the NBA’s “BIG” commercial series, not to be confused with Frank White; Brooklynite and New York Knicks enthusiast Spike Lee is featured and directs a quick clip which he hails Bernard King still the King of New York. Here, Spike recalls his favorite moments from a 1984 Knicks vs. Nets game where B.K. walked away after scoring 60 points. With Public Enemy’s “Get Up Stand Up” playing in the background, Lee shouts “ALL HAIL THE KING;” then hints at we never know who’s going to wear the crown next with a mural of the league’s 2013 MVP (thus far) shown in the background.
