Ronda Rousey Rips Cris Cyborg for Alleged P.E.D. Use

The entire MMA-world is awaiting a battle between UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino. However, the main issue at hand hindering any chance of this dream bout happening, is Cyborg’s weight at the moment – which she’s fighting in the 145 class.

Following her successful victory at UFC 190 over the weekend, Ronda Rousey spoke with reporters and addressed why the mega-fight still hasn’t happened – citing that her rival is filled with steroids in the higher weight class.

Ronda went to say, “I’m prepared to deal with anything, that’s why I’m the champion. I fight in the UFC, in the 135-pound division. She can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids or she can make the weight just like everybody else without them.” Justino tested positive for an anabolic steroid in 2011, but has insisted the failed screen was due to a diet supplement from her former coach.

Cyborg has gone on to pass every random drug test since in Nevada and California; but will unfortunately have to come down to 135 if she wants a title match against Rousey. UFC President Dana White has insisted that he doesn’t plan to have a catch-weight fight at 140, as Ronda also has shown no signs of wanting to move up in classes either.
