Rob Gronkowski Out Multiple Weeks with Bruised Knee

Foxboro has a huge sigh of relief!

Last night, the New England Patriots suffered their first loss in 2015 to the Denver Broncos, but the bigger story for Sunday night was Rob Gronkowski being carted off the field with a knee injury.

After undergoing an MRI Monday morning, the New England star tight-end appears to have only suffered a minor knee sprain – resting any concern of a repeat of his 2013 situation. Initially and judging by Gronks reaction on the field to his injury, we were expected a potential season-threatening tear, but he was later seen walking inside the stadium and locker room on his own will.

To take precautionary measures, New England will hold him out of action for the next two weeks, as they have games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.
