RGIII Will Return To Action This Week For Redskins

RGIII

RGIII Looks to make his comeback after being out since week 2

Robert Griffin III has been known for having injury problems in the last few seasons and this one has been nothing different. In week 2, RGIII went down with a dislocated his left ankle after landing awkwardly on it during a scramble out-of-bounds. The Washington Redskins announced that it was a season ending injury at the time and that they would be turning to backup QB, Kirk Cousins for the rest of the season.

Kirk has been nothing but a disappointment for the team, leading them to an 0-4 record. Shortly after Kirk’s underwhelming performance on the field, the Redskins decided to turn to third-string QB, and former Texas standout, Colt McCoy. In his two starts, Colt has led the team to two straight wins, one being against the 6-2 Cowboys last week on Monday Night Football.

Now that RGIII has made a quick and full recovery, he looks to take his starting job back.

There are some rumors of RGIII not playing every down this upcoming week, or that McCoy will remain the starter. All we know is that the Redskins are definitely going to be happy to have RGIII back, and we can’t wait to see what happens with this situation.
