Football and Thanksgiving go hand in hand like gravy and mashed potatoes. Like stuffing and turkey. It’s a tradition for folks to watch football while the women cook up that glorious dinner. Usually we get to see the same teams play on Thursday every year and this year is no different. But out of all the NFL squads that have taken the field in Thanksgiving pasts, there’s always a few that we loved to watch and are dearest to our football fan hearts.
This year, the Philadelphia Eagles will play the Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers will take on the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers will play the Chicago Bears in the most OG rivalry the NFL has ever seen. The past couple of years have seen more games on Thanksgiving and we can’t complain.
But out of all the teams that play on the holiday, a few sit at the top.
