LeBron James & the Cleveland Cavaliers can make early travel arrangements
Last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers routed the Atlanta Hawks in sweeping fashion to clinch their berth to the NBA Finals. While the Eastern Conference Champions are already resting up and preparing for their 2nd trip ever to the finale, the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are still in the midst of a gritty battle out west.
Due to both teams finishing with a better record in the regular season over the Cavaliers, the NBA decided to waste no time and release the schedule for fans patiently waiting for game 1 next week.
In comparison to previous years of the 2-3-2 format, the 2-2-1-1-1 format will enable the teams to have potential game 7 on a Friday night – instead of its traditional Thursday ending.
