Watch Outside The Lines with Adam Silver
With the NFL and MLB suffering from domestic abuse and performance enhancement issues, Adam Silver is doing everything in his power to avoid a public relations nightmare for the NBA. The recently appointed Commissioner sat-down with ESPN’s Andy Katz in the latest episode of ‘Outside The Lines’ to discuss everything he and members of the NBA cabinet are doing differently with help from Roger Goodell and Bud Selig.
Silver is looking to take his own unique approach for disciplinary action, giving players due-process in the future if they face unfortunate situations. He opens up on believing players are not tanking – but did cite management for teams have thought of the possibility. The legalization of gambling for the league is also discussing in closing, as Silver cited there is always a possibility of the inevitable, but it has to be properly regulated.
