Memphis looks to add depth after locking in star center

Very rare in today’s NBA game do we find star big men both ends of the floor. Spain star, Marc Gasol has saw consistent success over the last five seasons, making the post-season and even appearing in the Western Conference Finals just two years ago. Last season, Gasol made his first All-NBA First Team and was even voted as an All-Star starter last February. The Grizzlies achieved their third consecutive 50-win season, but injuries for Mike Conley and Tony Allen hindered them from advancing past the second round against the eventual World Champion Golden State Warriors. While the southwest powerhouse is still missing three-point shooting to free up their front-court tandem of Gasol and Zach Randolph, they’ve made their first significant move this off-season.

Memphis has agreed to give Marc a new five-year maximum contract, worth an estimated $110 million. The 30-year-old has an opt out clause to become a free agent after the fourth year of the contract, which the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks will be looking to convey him once again in 2019.

Get ready to raise some hell this fall in the WWE Universe.
