LeBron James Talks Entire Season, Playoff Expectations with Kyrie Irving & Kevin Love

Watch LBJ’s Sunday Conversation with ESPN!

Today, LeBron James takes the floor for his first playoff game back with the Cleveland Cavaliers in nearly 5 years. Through his time in South Beach with the Miami Heat, the King won two consecutive titles and went to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances – second now to only Bill Russell who went to five. While the Holy Grail destination for June seems very imminent with the lack of competition out east, LeBron isn’t overlooking any competitors, including their opening round opponents being the current red hot Boston Celtics.

Throughout his initial rocky season in Cleveland before their February deadline trades, LeBron took a two week break to heal and allow his body to fully recharge, after turning the age of thirty. At the time, David Blatt was pointed as the blame for their initially non-success but James has stood behind the rookie coach – citing his transition from Europe day one in September has been night and day in comparison to their spring stretch.

Although LeBron believes in his team’s talent, he’s a little weary of their lack of playoff experience, feeling that’s the only that could hold them back from not winning a championship this year.

Watch more from his Sunday Conversation interview above with Dave McMenamin, including how he expects Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love to elevate their talents in a first ever post-season experience.
