LeBron James has finally decided on which jersey number he will wear for next season, with his official return back to 23. Before leaving for the Miami Heat (who have Michael’s no. retired), LeBron was very vocal on no player wearing the legendary no. out of respect for Michael Jordan and decided to wear no. 6 following his arrival to South Beach.
Now back from FIFA Brazil World Cup and his Nike-sponsored basketball tour of China, James lays out the blueprint for Nike to start heavy campaign leading up to the 2015 season.
He now joins Anthony Davis, Draymond Green, Kevin Martin and Jason Richardson as the only active players who wear no. 23. Pre-orders for his new jersey began July 11th, minutes following his redemption letter and sold out within hours.
