LeBron James on Returning To Cleveland

Heat fans probably won’t watch this

It’s been a homecoming summer for LeBron James and it seems like everyone is fine with him going back to Cleveland, except, well, Miami Heat fans. In his first interview since making that bold move, he talks to Rachel Nichols about his decision and how he squashed the beef with Dan Gilbert during the off-season after not speaking to him in over four years.

LBJ also revealed his move might not have happened, had the Heat won against the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s NBA Finals, because it wouldn’t have been tough to bolt after pulling off a 3-peat. Nichols also asked him about what he did to lose all that weight in the summer, which started with his diet. On the flip-side, he says he’s a lot quicker on the court now and the competition should be scared.

On a more serious note, LeBron also spoke about race in the NBA and his thoughts on Ferguson and the Danny Ferry comments about Luol Deng. He feels like if something needs to be said about certain incidents, he will speak out, but he wants to be informed before voicing his opinion.

CNN’s Unguarded with Rachel Nichols will air tonight at 10:30 EST.
