Kyrie Irving Reportedly Out until January with Knee Injury

The Cavs will now look to get Mo Williams into form reunited with the King!

Although the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t win the NBA Title this summer, their still arguably the no. 1 target among all NBA teams this season. With the easiest schedule among all franchise for 2016, they’re almost a guaranteed lock to finish with the best record in the league, but we’ve learned they might be without Kyrie Irving to start the upcoming season. If you remember, he left the Finals against the eventual champion Golden State Warriors with a fractured left knee cap, and is now unlikely to play opening night against the Chicago Bulls.

He was limited in action against bitter central division rival, as well as the Atlanta Hawks before going down and the original 3-4 month recovery window has been extended. The January time-frame is the latest we expect him to be out, as the 23-year-old could return to the court by December. We’ll keep you updated on if he suffers another set-back in rehabilitating.
