Kobe Bryant’s First Dunk of the 2013 NBA Season

It’s only Kobe Bryant’s second game back and the L.A. Lakers continue losing.

Kobe led all Lakers scorers with 20 Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to get past the visiting Phoenix Suns, who took home the 114-108 win at The STAPLES Center. Bryant looked sharper and more confident during tonight’s game, shaking off some of the rust and nervousness from his debut on Sunday, showing flashes of his old self.

About halfway through the first quarter, Kobe blew past the defender, taking it left towards the baseline and slammed one home for old time’s sake. What achilles tear?

It might still be a few weeks before we see the Black Mamba somewhere close to 100%, but this is a good start. Now, if the Lakers can only get that first W with Kobe on the floor. It’s a young team, so they’re still getting accustomed to playing with #24.
