As a Lakers fan, it’s hard to say, but even Kobe Bryant admits it now: the end of his career is near. In talking with ESPN, he said that idea has been in the distance but he’s finally reached the point where it’s a reality. So what’s next for Kobe?

It looks like he will be using his celebrity muscle to release a line of energy drinks, the first under the Kobe Inc. You’re probably asking yourself what the difference between BODY ARMOR and other energy drinks on the market and KB says it offers less sodium than its competitors as well as coconut milk (potassium) for an athlete’s body.

Kobe wants to be more hands on with his investments and mentions that if it doesn’t have to do with the Sports industry, he probably won’t invest in it.

BODYARMOR was established the duo of Michael Repole and Lance Collins of Vitamin Water, NOZ and FUZE fame, selling their drinks to Coca Cola for millions upon millions of dollars. Now Kobe is third largest shareholder of the company behind the two, in a company that grossed over $10 million dollars last year.

Expect the likes of Andrew Luck, Rob Gronkowski & Buster Posey to endorse the BODYARMOR campaign in the months to come.
