Kendrick Lamar Performs “Backseat Freestyle” For Adrien Broner’s Entrance Last Night

With Adrien Broner being the leader of the boxing new school, it was only right he got the leader of the new hip-hop Kendrick Lamar to perform for his biggest career fight yet. Last night, Kendrick Lamar performed his banger, Backseat Freestyle as he had some technical difficulties with his microphone during the entrance but would still hold it down in true TDE fashion. Broner dressed in all pink wore a commemorative tribute to his former trainer Emanuel Steward who passed away last month due to colon cancer.

As Kendrick flipped the track saying “Broner had a Dream!” Adrien puts on his best Floyd Mayweather Jr. impersonation for the entrance before his big fight with Antonio DeMarco for the WBC Lightweight title. He would go on to win the bout in the 8th round via TKO from a thunderous upper cut.

We’re starting to enjoy these ring entrances from Adrien Broner as he’s already had Waka Flocka accompany him out and now Kendrick.
