Jimmy Butler Scores Career High 35 Points Against Knicks

The struggling New York Knicks with no Carmelo Anthony, who was out with a sore knee, were no match for Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, even if they kept things competitive to close out the game. Derrick Rose was also out with an illness, so in his absence, Jimmy Butler stepped up to the plate and scored 35 points on the night, a career high.

In the first half, it was a Pau Gasol to Butler connection, each finding each other on multiple plays for the assists and scores. Jimmy had 17 points at the half.

Then when the Knicks looked like they were creeping up to end the 4th quarter, Butler and and company hit the big shots that gave them the 103-97 win.

Butler is poised to make the All-Star team for the Bulls this year.
