The Chicago Bulls max out Jimmy Buckets

Exactly a month ago, the Chicago Bulls replaced long-standing coach Tom Thibodeau with new head coach Fred Hoiberg. While the coaching staff and the sidelines have been in disarray dating back to their championship runs with Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson, the team finally seems to be all on the same page.

With Hoiberg looking to incorporate a faster driven offense to benefit Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol, team management has revealed they’ve agreed to term with Jimmy Butler. The fourth-year stand-out star, led the team in scoring last year 20-per-game and is likely to be the new successor of the injury-plagued Rose to become the new focal point of the team’s offense. The new five-year deal is reportedly worth over $90 million on a maximum extension and will have a fifth-year player option to leave the team if he chooses to do so in 2020.
