With Christmas coming this week, Jalen Rose has decided to share one of his infamous NBA stories with Grantland in another episode of “Story Time.” This one deals with NBA Christmas games, which are a big part of our holiday. He explained that you always want to look fresh for when you’re playing on the 25th and on this particular day in 1999, he received a surprise.
Kurt Thomas, a player from the rival New York Knicks, hit him with the elbow to the face and somehow, he got ejected for taking the punch. In the story, he explains his theory as to why Thomas lost it and what he would have done different in retrospect.
