Michigan State Defeats Ohio State 34-24 To Win Big Ten Championship & Advance To The Rose Bowl.

The BCS title game has officially been shook up with the (10) Michigan State Spartans upsetting the (2) Ohio State Buckeyes in a 34-24 victory. Two weeks ago, the National Title was set to feature the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ohio State Buckeyes; but thankfully the final year of the BCS will not feature a generic game we were dreading all year.

Michigan State’s senior night was centered on obtaining one last victory for the season to remain undefeated in the Big Ten and most of all give Urban Meyer his first loss as head coach at Ohio State for the first time in two years. Spartan’s QB, Connor Cook had a career night throwing for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception in the process.

Ohio State fell into an early 17-0 hole, but would soon go on a 24-0 run of their own highlighted by two Braxton Miller touchdowns. The Spartans would remain poised to score one FG before the final quarter and cap off the game with two touchdowns (Josiah Price 9-yard catch and Jeremy Langform 26-yard run) to pull off the upset. Michigan State is now projected to play in the Rose Bowl against the Stanford Cardinals; while the BCS Title game will feature a match-up we’re excited for being the Florida State Seminoles and Auburn Tigers.

When the smoke cleared, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio only wanted to celebrate with his team in the back while dancing to Rich Homie Quan’s single “Type Of Way.”
