Felix Hernandez Signs $175 Million Contract With Seattle Mariners

Seattle Mariners Ink Felix Hernandez To Largest Payoff For A Pitcher In MLB History.

Felix Hernandez is a happy man today as he has reportedly signed a $175 million dollar contract with the Seattle Mariners. This will make him the highest paid pitcher in baseball history, as he is set to pull in $25 million a year. King Felix still had two years left on his deal but it looks like Seattle didn’t want to have any risk of him hitting the free agent market. Felix was the 2010 winner of the AL Cy Young award and one of the most dominating pitchers in the game.

What do you think of the deal? Did Seattle over pay for King Felix? Let us know in the comment section below.
