Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Love & Hate: Week 3

andrewluck

Another week of Fantasy Football and injuries throughout the league have started taking their toll on owners out there. The worst part about it is, Week 4 there’s SIX bye teams on deck, so if your lineup is running bone dry right now, shit is about to get worse. Waivers seems to be the stomping ground for success in these coming weeks, that’s if you haven’t suffered the pain of losing some of your first and second round picks to injury or sheer flops. I know first hand the struggles of being burned by guys you drafted sort of high, but that’s the risk you take every week when you play these cats.

There are actually some good pickups to target at QB this week if you need a back up or a hail mary starter, with a few rookie breakout receivers who showed out last Sunday getting some looks. There are also some swoops I told you about in previous weeks that deserve starts this upcoming weekend and maybe even beyond that.

Thank God I didn’t get blown out like last week and came out firing after making some changes in the lineup, but with Denver, Arizona, Cincinnati and St. Louis on BYE weeks, I’m taking a hit. I’ve been scrambling trying to find replacements, without dropping half my team. I might have to throw the towel in one league, because I’m practically depleted and face the #1 team in the land.

His shit is looking dry too, though. There’s a sliver of hope I get the upset.
