If you remember the Forbes wealthiest hip-hop earners reveal earlier this week, ESPN decided to continue the trend to show off a their own for the most paid. The 25 highest-paid athletes over the last 12 months have been revealed, which you see above Floyd Mayweather Jr. tops all making $73.5M for his previous 2 fights last year. The next person closest to Money Mayweather is Christian Ronaldo at $50.2M and his fellow La Liga of Primera División cohort Lionel Messi at $50.1M. The NBA only has one player on the list being Kobe Bryant who missed most of the 2014 season due to rehab, while the NFL and MLB dominated the rest of the wealthy highlighted by Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady among others.
