The Miami Heat player believes big-men aren’t extinct

During the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors went into panic mode against the Cleveland Cavaliers, falling to a 2-1 deficit. Steve Kerr and his collective of assistant coaches quickly made adjustments, making Draymond Green their starting center throughout the series. After having a breakout year with the Miami Heat last season, Hassan Whiteside randomly went to say small ball only worked on centers that can’t score and wished a 6’6 forward would guard him for a career night.

While Whiteside didn’t specify who he was referring to, it was obviously directed at the defending world champion star player for the Bay Area, prompting green to take aim – asking could he score and say big men are becoming dinosaurs. Draymond unfortunately would delete his tweets, but a screen shot was captured that you can take a look at in full below. Both teams now have to hold this animosity against each other until they play in in Golden State on January 11th.
