Expect Phil Brooks to make his debut by spring 2016 in UFC!

Since first announcing he was joining the UFC brand last holiday, the anticipation for Phil ‘CM Punk’ Brooks’ initial debut in the MMA world has been one of the more anticipated events for the promotion. Dana White originally planned for the former WWE star to have his first fight in spring 2016, but now Brooks has been sidelined with a shoulder injury.

The 36-year-old has been training at the Roufusport Academy in Milwaukee, as his trainer Duke Roufus broke news of the unfortunate delay. At the moment, Punk’s only feeling 50 percent healthy, as promoters will await to make sure he’s completely healthy before booking his first fight.

Our assumption would be to expect his debut in July for UFC 200 at the new 20,000-seated Las Vegas Strip Arena, but it all depends on Phil’s health going forward.
