King James gets more added insurance depth to his juggernaut Cavs
As the Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristian Thompson’s recent contract disputes have gone public, Dan Gilbert and the front office of the defending Eastern Conference Champions are set to make a huge acquisition. Looking to unload the contract of the $10.5 million dollar contract of Brendan Haywood, reports have surfaced that Cleveland is nearing a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers, who are in desperate need of front court help.
The Cavaliers are reportedly trading away Haywood for two-guard Jamal Crawford in an apparent 4-person trade to find a replacement for J.R. Smith. Jordan Hamilton and Lester Hudson are set to be included, as Los Angeles looks to fill their DeAndre Jordan-void as soon as possible. The trade can’t be completed until July 11th, as Jamal will reportedly be returning back to the original team that drafted him in 2000.

As @EricPincus noted, Hudson/Hamilton/Crawford works for Haywood. Hudson cannot be traded until 7/11.
