Cam Newton Thinks His Combined Talents in the NFL Have Never Been Seen in One Player

Killa Cam is still grateful to be in North Carolina

Last season, the Carolina Panthers over-achieved with advancing to the NFC Divisional Playoffs. With the unfortunate exit of Steve Smith Sr. last off-season, the Panthers have made significant moves this off-season in signing Ted Glinn Jr., Jarrett Boykin, Kurt Coleman – as well as providing much-needed protection on the line for their franchise star with offensive-tackles Jonathan Martin and Michael Oher.

After making just $3 million last season, Cam Newton is scheduled to walk away with $15 million this upcoming year in the final year of his rookie contract. In a sit-down interview with local Charlotte news station WCCB, Killa Cam had a lot to say about his critics and thanked his fans for always supporting him through a few rough seasons. He also went as far as to say, “I don’t think nobody has ever been who I’m trying to be. I’m just saying that so much of my talents have not been seen in one person.” While this may be the ultimate campaign and landing his inevitable multi-year deal next winter, watch the entire interview above.
