Bruno Mars Announced To Headline Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show

On February 2nd, when the NFL invades the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for next year’s Super Bowl, Bruno Mars will be the halftime show headliner. He follows up previous megastar performers in the likes of Beyoncé and Madonna, as we’re assuming he was chosen due to weather of potential snow.

There was even talks of not even having a Super Bowl halftime time show, as some dance performers would obviously avoid the frigid weather; but Bruno should be okay for the festivities early next year not being a choreographed performer.

Following the release of his double-platinum sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox,” Bruno’s had performances this year already for the GRAMMYs, Billboard Music Awards, and just two weeks ago for the MTV VMAs. He’s currently been on his Moonshine Jungle tour highlighted by two sold out nights at Staples Center over the summer, as he’s looking to bring hot performances to warm up the crowd in East Rutherford next year on FOX.
