Brandon Jennings Leaves Game in Wheelchair With Torn Achilles

Bad times for Detroit

The Detroit Pistons have been enjoying an upswing ever since releasing Josh Smith from the team and all signs were pointing towards them making the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. That is until tonight when they suffered the unfortunate.

Starting point guard Brandon Jennings went down in the third quarter and it didn’t look good from first glance by the way he was grabbing his ankle. After being helped off the floor, hobbling towards the locker room, he was placed in a wheelchair and sent out off down the tunnel.

Initial reports coming out of the Pistons locker room say that he has suffered a “lower left injury,” but there is strong speculation that he has suffered a torn Achilles. He will undergo an MRI tomorrow to confirm the severity of the injury as the team awaits a time frame for recovery.

Get well soon Brandon Jennings.
