Is Dallas The Most Underrated Team in the NBA?
One of the more overlooked teams in the NBA heading into the 2015 season is the Dallas Mavericks. Last spring during the San Antonio Spurs Championship run, they were the only team to give them legit competition before their complete domination of LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
With the emergence of young players Chandler Parsons and Monta Ellis, the return of paint defender Tyson Chandler and their superstar Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas has enough pieces to make a serious run.
Although the starters sat out last night’s exhibition game against the Indiana Pacers, the Mavericks fans were treated with a nice alley-oop pass from point guard Gal Mekel to veteran Brandan Wright. Over the last week, the Mavs have been one of our go to teams in NBA 2K15 (did we mention Richard Jefferson’s 2K3 dunk package resurrected?) and the highlight above is just a preview of what we expect for them to wow fans with this season.
