Beyoncé Set To Headline The Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show

Sources close to Associated Press have been notified Beyonce will take the stage to headline this year’s Super Bowl on Feb. 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Bee, made her first Super Bowl appearance in 2004 at her hometown of Houston, Texas performing the national anthem, but now the 16-time Grammy-award-winning songstress will have the biggest live performance the year with rights to the Pepsi Halftime at Super Bowl XLVII.

New Orleans hosted a Super Bowl in 2002, but now will have all eyes on the city for the first time since the devastating 2005 Hurricane Katrina. With Mrs. Carter taking the stage, we could potentially see a Destiny’s Child reunion along with husband Jay-Z making an appearance in some form of capacity.
