Anderson Silva Talks Upcoming UFC 183 Bout with Nick Diaz & Possible Retirement

Light Work? Silva doesn’t think so heading into Saturday!

In 2013, Anderson Silva endured his worst ever career year with back-to-back loses to Chris Weidman, for the UFC middleweight championship. While suffering a knockout in the first bout and a horrific leg injury that put his career in danger, the Brazilian legend will be returning to the octagon for the first time in 13 months.

After a 7-year reign with the title, Silva is looking to recapture the belt he made famous over the last decade, in his UFC 183 bout tomorrow night against Nick Diaz – also coming off back-to-back loses. The MGM Grand Garden Arena will host one of the biggest bouts of the year, as Anderson is ready for his Saturday return to the ring.

During a recent media press conference, Silva touched on a variety of subjects including how he never considered retirement after the career-threatening leg injury and how sponsors have turned their backs on him.
