In one of the biggest transfers of the summer, Alexis Sanchez has agreed a deal to join Arsenal on a long-term contract. The Barcelona move arrives after not becoming part of their future plans, and off the back of an impressive run of form with Chile in the World Cup. Sanchez has played for the Spanish giants since 2011, having scored 39 goals in 88 appearances for the club. The Chilean player has secured a number of honors under his name, including the La Liga, Copa del Rey, two Spanish Super Cups, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, and will play a key role as squad number 17 in Arsene Wenger’s plans for next season.
