Adrian Peterson Breaks Loose for 35-Yard Touchdown Against Falcons

AP running wild in Atlanta

Quiet as kept, the Minnesota Vikings are running the NFC North division with an 8-3 record, ahead of the Green Bay Packers, who are fighting to stay alive in the Wild Card.

It’s safe to say Adrian Peterson has been a big part of the Vikings success, because he’s been running like a madman for most of the season. Today against the Atlanta Falcons, he ended with 29 carries for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns.

On this play in the 4th quarter with the 13-3 lead, AP broke tackles and powered his way to the 35-yard touchdown to pretty much seal the deal for the Vikings win.

With his rushing yards today, Peterson became the 20th all-time in career rushing yards, passing O.J. Simpson in the records books.
