This Benoit double-murder suicide gets questioned

Before his death in 2007, Chris Benoit was considered by many to be the best technical wrestler alive. However, during the three-day weekend of June 25th, it was reported that Benoit killed his wife Nancy through strangling and their seven-year-old son Daniel through suffocation.

Now nearly 10-years later, legendary Pro Wrestling Illustrated writer, Bill Apter is questioning the tragic event. During a recent episode of Chris Jericho’s Talk Is Jericho podcast, Bill opened up on spending significant time with the family and feels his former friend his innocent.

He admitted the pair had issues, but always remained in-tact due to their love for Daniel and isn’t sold on the police report. While WWE has nearly erased any mention of Benoit through their company, with the exception of their network, many of his closest friends still believe that he couldn’t have committed the crime. In the video, that you can listen to below, Mr. Apter explains how he believes the murder-suicide was a set-up and done by professional hit men.
