A Look at John Cena’s Gruesome Broken Nose Injury on Monday Night Raw

It’s still real to them dammit!

After enduring a PR nightmare over the weekend after a recent firing of Hulk Hogan for racist comments, WWE returned Monday Night to start a new week with the latest edition of their long-standing series, RAW. During a routine John Cena match where his opponent normally does the job, something rare happened for once – being a legit injury to the invisible man. He was defending his United States Title against current WWE Champion Seth Rollins and would suffer an unfortunate broken nose on live TV.

There was no hiding the fact that Cena’s nose grew two sizes and was pouring with blood after an accidental direct hit from his opponent. The two would still finish the match, with an obvious finish, but it was a rare occasion of actually seeing blood on WWE’s PG-era.
