The Week OnSMASH [12.1.12]

As we saw one of the biggest Cyber Mondays ever this past Monday, the music kept pouring in for the last week of November. Following the flood of Thanksgiving releases, some music veterans released big singles in anticipation for their Christmas release dates.

T.I., Juicy J, 50 Cent, Big Boi, French Montana and The Game all brought out the major guns for their featured tracks, and we saw plenty of projects, including those from Omarion, The Come Up, Tyga and more. Some dope R&B and alternative was released as well, so we hope that doesn’t slip through the cracks. Congrats to Adele for going diamond, G.O.O.D. Music for going platinum and Rihanna for snatching up her first #1 album. The West Coast represented as well, as Dr. Dre locked up the #1 spot as highest paid musician, and it looks like we’ll get a new Nate Dogg album next year. In ratchet news, we played Juicy J’s Bandz game over and over and made it rain like crazy on them skrippers!
