The Snoop Dogg ‘Stacey Adams’ Playlist

snoopdoggdeathrow

This past week, we took you on a ride through the transformations of Snoop Dogg‘s style throughout the course of his career as he gets ready to drop an album executive produced by Pharrell. Through his debut with Death Row Records and stint at No Limi shortly after, to him rocking with The Neptunes and clicking up with Tha Eastsidaz for two albums.

Although making a “Best of Snoop Dogg” playlist would be too easy, we actually went digging through his every effort for slept-on tracks that fit the OG West Coast vibe. Some albums had more than a handful, others had practically none. Doggystyle, obviously had the most records, so we cherry picked two hard tracks from the timeless classic and searched throughout the rest of the catalog for Dr. Dre and DJ Quik-produced gems.

The result is this Stacey Adams playlist, which rides out like a head to toe West Coast solid G-Funk classic (if it was an actual album). Don’t believe us, press play and find out yourself.

And for the record, we threw “Ride On/Caught” as a bonus because we love the song so much, even though it’s not on any of his albums.
