With his sixth studio album Hood Billionaire available now, Rick Ross was the latest artist to join Peter Rosenberg for his Complex TV original series, The Process. During their intimate discussion at New York City’s legendary Chung King Studios, Peter and Ross discussed how his infamous grunt ad-lib started, studying and taking notes from the greats on both lyrical and production standpoints, being inspired by 2Pac and more. Ross also spoke on the inspiration on how the “Maybach Music” song series first made its impact and continuing on throughout all of his albums. The two then headed to the studio to breakdown the lyrics on select songs from Ross’ catalog.
