While the majority would consider Talib Kweli to be one of the key inspirations to newer artists based on his work from the late ’90s until now, that doesn’t suggest he shouldn’t work alongside some of New York’s most promising young talent. Assisted by production from Statik Selektah, we’re provided with a collaboration between Kweli and the duo of The Underachievers on the appropriately titled “New Leaders,” which will appear on the upcoming Gravitas album on December 15th.
