After getting a big look on Faith Evans “I Deserve It” single and its accompanying music video, the protégée of Missy Elliott is ready to get the ball rolling on her own project. Today, Sharaya J premieres the new music video to her singles “Takin’ It No More” produced by DJ Jayhood with a sample from Missy’s “Take Away” and “Shut It Down” produced by Aaron “D Boy” Monroe.
The clip draws inspiration from Little Shop of Horrors and Janet Jackson’s “Alright” and features choreographed dance numbers throughout, while Sharaya lets her man know she ain’t taking it no more. While the first clip was more colorful, the visual for “Shut It Down” goes black-and-white and sees Shayara J and her back-up dancers busting out more dance moves.
