Sap is well-known for his production with such artist as Meek Mill, The Game, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Tyga, Juicy J and many other artist that you are familiar with. One thing you may not have known about the Chester, PA born producer — he also raps. Something we learned from his 2012 mixtape Surprise, Surprise. While he doesn’t showcase it that often, these past two years have seen him doing it a bit more, already releasing The Invite and W.A.W.A, as well as joining Chris Webby for the collaborative Jamo Neat EP.
For the first single off the forthcoming Self Employed LP, SAP brings along a trio of familiar names in fellow producers-turned-rappers Hit-Boy and Mike Zombie as well as Hodgy Beats, who also gets behind the boards from time to time. On “Boom Bap,” though, it’s all about the rhymes as they take turns in jumping in front of the camera and straight ripping the mike.
