Another performance killed
Ellen DeGeneres’ birthday show had a slew of friends come through the studio to pay her a visit. From Kanye West, to Justin Bieber and even Sam Smith as a special guest performer. To celebrate, Sam gave the audience a powerful performance of “Lay Me Down,” for those who are up on his platinum certified In The Lonely Hour. The already ballad was already slow to begin with, but he stripped it down a bit more, using only a piano and violins to back him. His voice was the main instrument in this one.
