Rhythm Roulette: Kirk Knight

Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette series we always make sure to tune into when a new one releases. The latest episode features Pro Era producer and rapper Kirk Knight and his journey to Generation Records. As it always goes, the New York musician picked three records at random while blindfolded and once he got his three picks he headed back to the studio to cook up.

Surprised by one of his picks being John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together, Kirk wasn’t sure what he’d find on there, but he still gave it a try, with no luck, he relied on his other selections of the Exodus movie soundtrack and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Flower Drum Song” to give him what he needed to come out with a dope final product. After spending some time on crafting the beat, Kirk worked his magic in presenting us with a sick instrumental for us to vibe to.
